Admiring the handiwork.

12 February 2020Still battling the rot - spot resleepering.

This is the way to go - subject to planning and money! The South Chord has not had track laid on it since it was dug out in 1864 by Great Western Railway.

The Yeovil Pen Mill line is in the distance. Another 300+ metres would be added to our running line.

16 February 2020. Storm Dennis added to the rain (and wind) offered by Storm Ciara a week before. River Yeo has backed up into the fields below our site. River then runs through a bridge under the Centre's and Network Rail tracks. In the distance a large (oak?) tree has fallen.

Fly away chair!

Re-decorating the Transfer Shed (Visitor Centre) in preparation for the new season.

Rehearsal space for a theatre group. All the world's a stage (including the Transfer Shed!).

After repairs to the wooden bearers, next step is to re-instate the walkways on the side of the ICI Acid Tanker.

Also ongoing is refurbishment of a Conflat. Anyone have an original container to go on it?
