A recent generous donation by the Estate of Lionel R Pool, a lifelong railway enthusiast, has been a former Divisional Boundary concrete marker post indicating where one area's responsibility ended and another began. This one marks Eastleigh and Exeter areas.

The Model Railway currently housed in a Portacabin is to be moved to a side shed alongside the Transfer Shed. This will greatly improve access and also enable the layout to be enlarged. Work has begun in boarding the area and providing insulation.

One of our volunteer's uncle was killed in the trenches during World War I on this precise date, 100 years ago. Ron marked the occasion with a wreath and headboard carried on 'Lord Fisher' during the steam train day.

31 May 2016. The Company has been able to acquire a couple of good quality workshop machines. Many thanks to the volunteers would went to collect.

....and a Milling Machine. Some work (and training) needs to be done to make space and to get the machines ready for use.
