01 August 2009 A bit out of the usual patch but an interesting working was captured. UK Railtours ran the Weymouth Seaside Special using two GB Railfreight 73s.These pictures show the runround as seen from the Alexandra Bridge area. All pictures courtesy S Smith.

After propelling back from Weymouth station, the two 73s are detached.

As only part of the run round siding is electrified, 'Janice' runs on diesel power. Part of the main run was also using diesel on one 73 due to the power limitations of the 3rd rail west of Poole.
