Replacement point timbers have been delivered!

First five timbers to be replaced are now in place and await ballasting.

The next section involves replacing four timbers. One is being dragged out to save on manual labour!

All four have been removed. The chairs and rail can be cleaned to remove decades of rust and debris before the new timbers are placed.

The front braking system of the crane has been overhauled. Nuts are being tightened again. Easier than getting them off in the first place.
