Tuesday 7 September 2004. 33202 and 33103

After its exertions bringing 11 coaches on the Cathedrals Express from Exeter St Davids to Yeovil Junction on Sunday 5 September, 33202 'Meteor' was declared a failure and stabled in the old down through road. It was still there on Tuesday 7 September. In the background are a Balfour Beatty tamping machine and behind (just visible), 20059 (in green livery) and 20177 (behind tamper).

33103 'Swordfish' was sent from Eastleigh via Salisbury to collect the engine.

and away they go to Derby (via Yeovil Pen Mill and Reading.
