7 November 2015 - Branch Line Society visit.

Following details (amended for units used) from Branch Line Society website:- In partnership with South West Trains [SWT] and using a 6-car -2 x Class 159 DMU, this charity fund raising railtour includes the sought after Salisbury Depot, Bournemouth Depot and Northam Depot as its three main highlights. In addition it provides a wide variety of unusual routing with excellent use made of bi-directional lines! A leg stretch and photographic break has been scheduled for Yeovil, where the Yeovil Railway Centre will operate standard gauge and miniature rides for our passengers. All profits from the charter will be donated to SWT's nominated charity, Railway Benefit Fund. As usual, our fund raising activity will be supported by an on-train raffle, a fun quiz and the opportunity to purchase mementos of the day. Participants will receive a souvenir ticket, comprehensive tour brochure including a detailed route description, track map and timing sheet to aid their enjoyment.
