Model Railway Exhibition 2005 was held on 10 April. Some 10 layouts together with traders Hendford Halt from Yeovil and Buffers from Axminster were also present.
The Railway Centre wishes to thank everyone who took the time and trouble to create a most enjoyable and well-attended event.




Yeovil Pen Mill was displayed by Weymouth Model Railway Association and has been extended and improved since it made its public debut last year.




Yeovil Town, exhibited by Yeovil Model Railway Group is very much still 'under construction'.




Windmill Heights is a HOe/009 gauge layout presented by Barry and Shelley Thomas with masses of details.




A Hornby Dublo 3 rail tinplate shown by Mr and Mrs D Hillyar entitled Binns Road Junction also acts as a tribute to Frank Hornby, the inventor of Meccano and Hornby trains.




Seaview is an imaginary modern image layout in 'N' gauge created by Crockerton Model Railway Club




Upstairs Alan Stainer, a member of Blackmoor Vale Modellers brought his village scene layout. Demonstrations of scenery construction were also given.




Aiden Clotworthy watches over his display of OO gauge items.




Jeff Tennant of Buffers Model Railways Ltd of Axminster brought along one of the world's smallest layouts in Z gauge which fits into a suitcase.
