In 2022, Yeovil Railway Centre held 6 'Santa Special Days' and a further 2 'Tea with Santa' afternoons. Here a few images from these events. We hope that our visitors enjoyed themselves (as did the volunteers!) |

We were delighted to welcome our friends from Julias House Children's Hospice after a break due to the Covid Pandemic. Jo and Melissa seen with Santa. A report on their visit can be found on Facebook CLICK HERE and go to 22 December 2022 Some lovely feedback:- A massive thank you for everything you did yesterday for the families of Julia's House. It was amazing and you even provided chilly, but dry weather for us too. Everything was perfect.... the train, Santa, the decorated waiting room, the "snow", the bubbles, the cafe volunteers, the cheeky elves, the train volunteers, Zach, the puppet and his owner, The Gate Volunteers. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and absolutely so kind to us all. All our families had such a wonderful time and it was a great start to their festive season. The families that couldn't come along, were so disappointed with missing out on this event. We did drop off their Santa gifts, en route home though! |
