12 April 2006. 45407 'The Lancashire Fusilier' and Standard 76079 call at Yeovil Junction for servicing whilst hauling the Strong Countryman excursion for Past Time Rail. The train originated in London whilst steam was attached at Salisbury and returned there via Yeovil Junction/Pen Mill, Weymouth and Eastleigh.

The SRPS (Scottish Railway Preservation Society) set of coaches was used.




Yeovil Railway Centre Ruston 'Yeo' was on hand when 76079 brought the support coach in.




To help shunting, 'Yeo' was attached to the support coach....




....and moved it a short way down the Clifton Maybank branch (in the left distance 45407 is being coaled)....




....whilst 76079 was turned.




Peckett 'Pectin', GWR Toad brakevan and Fowler diesel were on display.




76079 moved over to the upside for coaling whilst 45407 arrived for turning.

After 'Yeo' had shunted the support coach, this was picked up by 45407 and the train began to re-form.
