The second of 2011's series of trains was the first to involve Yeovil Railway Centre this year. 70013 was not available for the previous week's train so 34067 was used in both directions with diesel assistance.




70000 'Britannia' arrived at 01.02 Tuesday morning. Next morning she is over the pit.




Nameplates are not being carried at present.




Reversing out ready for the run to Weymouth.




South West Trains 159 unit passes.






Dummy is 'off' for 70000.

'Pectin' pulls 34067 'Tangmere' out of the loop and over the pit so that the ashpan can be emptied and a fire lit later.

Weymouth Seaside Express powered by 34067 'Tangmere' seen near Yeovil Railway Centre.




The elevator worked well. This was the first time it was used with a severe time constraint!
