12 September 2007 Postponed from 9 July, Steam Dreams ran the Waterloo Sunrise with 34067 Tangmere. This train ran non-stop from Waterloo to Salisbury in 95 minutes (arriving punctually!). The train was originally planned to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the end of Southern Region steam. |
Arrival on Platform 3 where steam was detached and the train continued to Weymouth behind a West Coast Class 47 (via Yeovil Pen Mill). |
