13 May 2014 - MPV comprising vehicles 98958 and 98908 seen at Pinhoe and following 15.25 to Waterloo. Running as 6Z05 Exeter (Waggoners Way) to Bristol Temple Meads via Honiton.

Monday 19 May 2014 - A First Great Western crew training run from Exeter to Castle Cary via Honiton and the two Yeovil stations is formed of 150221 and photographed at Pinhoe by Dave Tozer.






30 May 2014 - Until recently South West Trains 158 units were not often seen at Yeovil or west, being used mainly to cover stock shortages. However a new working has been introduced with a 158 and a 159 working the 10.20 from Waterloo to Exeter St Davids. The 158 then works the 17.46 to Axminster (and return) and then 19.25 Exeter St Davids to Waterloo. Photographed at Pinhoe by Dave Tozer.




19 June 2014 - The monthly visit to the Exeter – Salisbury line produced a little surprise. On the rear of the 0457 1Q23 Old Oak Common – Exeter (New Yard) was newly named power car 43013 ‘Railway Observer’. 43062 ‘John Armitt ‘ was leading.
