13 December 2009
Santa Specials for 2009 started today with a chill breeze but lots of happy visitors.

'Pectin' puts up a good show in these conditions!

Built for short bursts of energy, 'Pectin' is ideally suited to her home at Yeovil.

Our visitors ride in historic brake vans for their train ride.

Dudley and 'JC' enjoy dressing up!

Some of the catering crew warm themselves by the (pretend!) fire in Santa's fireplace!

Inside the Transfer Shed, snow is falling!! Santa's Grotto can be found by literally going through the fireplace and up the chimney!

The strange snowpeople are responsible!!

A guard of honour for our visitors is formed by 'Yeo' and 'Cockney Rebel'.

Tony's Toys are sold to benefit Heaven's Gate Animal Sanctuary funds.

Aidan, Richard and Simon run the Shop.

The Shop has a good range of railway book, video and DVD and Thomas items available. Also some Model Railway equipment. It is open every Sunday morning 10am to noon (except Christmas/New Year) and also when other events are booked.

20 December. Santa and elf appear from 'Pectin's' steam.

A cold and frosty day with a light covering of last night's snow still remains.

We can see clearly now!!
