saw a special excursion from Okehampton to Weymouth using a GWR Castle Class (using ex HST Power Cars and limited coaches). Power Car 43194 has been named 'Okehampton Castle' and was the first of this 'new' class to run via Yeovil.




Outward journey was 1Z55 08.15 Okehampton-Exeter St Davids-Westbury-Castle Cary-Weymouth.
Power Car 43188 leads. Seen at Hummer near Yeovil on the Castle Cary to Weymouth line.

Seen at Coker Wood having reversed at Yeovil Pen Mill and run up the branch to Yeovil Junction and taking the ex-LSWR route to Exeter. Now running as 1Z57 16.29 Weymouth to Okehampton arriving 19.20.
