16 June 2013
The volunteers at Yeovil Railway Centre were all excited to be able to put Andrew Barclay 0-4-0 'Lord Fisher' back into service after a restoration to traffic lasting from January 2011 to June 2013. We were also very pleased to welcome the owner, Barry Buckfield, and a number of his invited guests who had been with the engine in its days at Longmoor, Radstock and Cranmore (East Somerset Railway).

John Rees has uploaded a video of the day on You Tube - CLICK HERE and use BACK button to return here.

After Yeovil Railway Centre Chairman, Paul Gould, had spoken, the owner Barry Buckfield said a few words and.....

'Lord Fisher' and 'Pectin' joined forces for the first couple of trips down the branch and then 'Lord Fisher' on its own and top and tailing were operated. Much fun!
