| 21 April 2013 The first of two Model Railway Days in 2013 proved highly popular and also featured 0-4-0 'Lord Fisher' on display. The following photos aim to show (and a big thank you to the Model Railway exhibitors!) the layouts present, some of the other attractions and a little of the other work undertaken on that day. | Some photos follow of the Model Railways and other exhibits on display. |

Our resident layout 'Maybank Junction'....

....had a guest train courtesy of D400 Group! Thanks.

Westland & Yeovil District Model Engineering Society provided the Miniature Railway rides.

0-4-0 'Pectin' ran a Driver Experience event before public rides began....

....and demonstrated the turntable later. The revamped viewing area access and Picnic area are now established.

Train crew relax in between train rides.

Tony and friend.

A scale Traction Engine often appears at our Train Days....

....and gives rides.

A 16mm live steam layout is also often present and very nice it looks.

'Lord Fisher' (owned by Barry Buckfield), fresh from its successful steam test, was on display. Official launch day Sunday 16 June when we hope to have the engine in traffic.

Sure to be pampered the same as 'Pectin'!

Ivan is commandeered to assist!

Our ladies in the kitchen (looking resplendent in their new caps!)

Ivan is later released and passes the time of day with a local railway author.

The Shop staff look on as Tony grapples with a new Card Reader machine.

Some other work continued. Here Ron is working on the compressor from his Fowler diesel.

Bill and John continue with the internals on the Company Fowler loco.

Martin has been refurbishing a piece of metal that once was free of rust and contained no holes! (Many years ago)

Could this be the same piece of metal? Mostly at least but now looking very much improved!

Martin admiring his handiwork-as well he should!
