Yeovil Railway Centre have acquired a coach (DMU Class 117 TCL (Trailer Composite Lavatory) no 59515), previously in store at Minehead Station on West Somerset Railway.

It is planned, when finances allow - please see appeal - to repair and repaint the vehicle and modify it to suit our operations at Yeovil. If you can help financially with the move and repair costs etc please CLICK HERE for details. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

16 June 2013 - The coach was kindly moved from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard by West Somerset Railway awaiting its main line move to Yeovil.

21 June 2013 - DCR operated 31190 was used to transfer the vehicle from Bishops Lydeard (West Somerset Railway). Left an hour early, then ran to Frome (instead of Westbury) where it ran round, arriving some 2 1/2 hours before time!

Ron is a happy boy! Everything went very smoothly, thanks to all concerned.
