Dave Tozer has sent in a photograph taken during the morning of 24 April 2014 of the 0448 1Q23 Old Oak Common – Exeter (New Yard) taken from the former showground, Whipton on the approach to Exmouth Junction. The HST will then return at 1038 via Honiton and Castle Cary to Westbury. From here it will retrace it’s route to Yeovil(Pen Mill) and then to Weymouth. 24 April 2014 Colas Rail bring Class 70 power to Yeovil Junction with a Continuous Welded Rail train en-route to Feniton. Possibly only the second visit of the class. |
