At the end of a three day excursion programme for Pathfinder Railtours, D1015 Western Champion passes Yeovil Junction en-route Exeter to London. A nice sight as well!!

An on-going task is the greasing of the fishplates to allow the rails some expansion during hot weather.

In between running days, a check is made on Peckett steam engine 'Pectin' to ensure that all is well, make any necessary adjustments and prep her ready for the next steaming. Here she has been moved to the pit using Ruston shunter 'Yeo'. Photo courtesy Roland Groom
