27 August 2004 Ron Weston's Fowler engine has its motor and cab replaced. Thanks to Chris Grabham for the pictures

After careful restoration in the engine shed over many months, the motor sees the light of day

and is carefully lowered into the refurbished chassis.

The cab then follows.

The Fowler is beginning to look like an engine again. The loco is now to be moved into the engine shed for the continuation of its overhaul.
