It was the turn of 5029 'Nunney Castle' to work the second 'Weymouth Seaside Express' of 2013.

Class 33 33207 was included due to the continuing risk of fire (despite some recent rain the vegetation is still dries out rapidly). However as formed at Bristol the Class 33 was on the rear of the train but was refused permission to leave until the engines were together. This made for a 50 or so minute late start. Seen near Sparkford.

Due to the late running, it was decided to remove the Castle at Yeovil Pen Mill in order to ensure it got down to Weymouth for a right time departure. Running into the sidings at Yeovil Junction around 1 1/4 hours early.
