02 July 2006 was a milestone in the history of Yeovil Railway Centre. Following a decision by 6000 Locomotive Association to disband they have (with approval of Charity Commissioners) transferred ownership (and responsibility) of the Peckett 'Pectin' to Yeovil Railway Centre.

Paul Gould, Company Secretary Yeovil Railway Centre is seen accepting the transfer certificate from Angus Brymer, Chairman 6000 Locomotive Association.
