|Our Shop is open every Sunday from 10am to noon (except Christmas and New Year) for sale of new and second-hand Railway and other transport related books, videos and other items (including Thomas the Tank Engine).|
The Shop now has a range of Model Railway items for sale and can obtain many others for collection.
The Shop is also open during visits by main line steam and Train Days. Up to date information on events is given without charge.....
WE HAVE MANY IDEAS FOR PRESENTS WITH A RAILWAY THEME FOR BOTH OLD AND YOUNG (AND THOSE IN BETWEEN).

We offer good value Driver Experience events for individuals (up to 3 hours approx and great Gift idea!) or are suitable for Groups of up to 8 people (Full Day). Please get in touch if you are interested either in organising a group for a full day or perhaps preparing and driving the engine prior to one of our Train Days. |29 December||Friday||Steam Train Day-Mince Pie Special using Andrew Barclay 0-4-0 steam engine 'Lord Fisher' to give train rides along the 1/3rd mile of the ex-Great Western Railway Clifton Maybank branch. Passengers travel in historic brake van vehicles or coach. Trains run every 20 minutes (except for a lunch break) and|
visitors can enjoy unlimited trips on the day.
Other attractions include a Miniature Railway (unlimited rides included, subject to weather), Shop, Light Refreshments, Model Railway and exhibits and displays.
Admission (including Steam Train rides £7 adult, Children £3.50 (aged 5-15) whilst children under 5 and members are admitted free.
One Child (aged 5-15) is admitted FREE with a full paying adult. (Gate open at 10.30am and train rides start at 11am. Close at 4pm).
Regular Train Days are held March to October
Free Mince Pie with every cup of tea or coffee purchased whilst stocks last!
Free parking on site (subject to availability) – go to Yeovil Junction station, BA22 9UU and turn right under the low bridge half way up the station approach road – look out for large ‘Yeovil Railway Centre’ sign and arrow!
