|Our Shop is open every Sunday from 10am to noon (except Christmas and New Year) for sale of new and second-hand Railway and other transport related books, videos and other items (including Thomas the Tank Engine).|
The Shop now has a range of Model Railway items for sale and can obtain many others for collection.
The Shop is also open during visits by main line steam and Train Days. Up to date information on events is given without charge.....
WE HAVE MANY IDEAS FOR PRESENTS WITH A RAILWAY THEME FOR BOTH OLD AND YOUNG (AND THOSE IN BETWEEN).

We offer good value Driver Experience events for individuals (up to 3 hours approx and great Gift idea!) or are suitable for Groups of up to 8 people (Full Day). Please get in touch if you are interested either in organising a group for a full day or perhaps preparing and driving the engine prior to one of our Train Days. |2019||Our full events programme for 2019 will be posted before end January (although some events have details to be added nearer the time).|
|Steam Train Day using Andrew Barclay 0-4-0 steam engine 'Lord Fisher' to give train rides along the 1/3rd mile of the ex-Great Western Railway Clifton Maybank branch. Passengers travel in historic brake van vehicles or coach. Coach is accessible via ramp for standard size Wheelchair and other users.|
Trains run every 20 minutes (except for a lunch break) and visitors can enjoy unlimited trips on the day as well as on the Miniature Railway.
Other planned attractions include a Shop, Light Refreshments, Model Railway and exhibits and displays (including demonstrations of the turntable).
Admission (including Steam Train and Miniature Railway rides £9.00 adult for those UK taxpayers eligible and willing to add a voluntary donation to enable us to claim valuable Gift Aid (your admission is then worth £11.25), otherwise £8 adult, Children £4.50 (Gift Aid) otherwise £4.00 (aged 5-15) whilst children under 5 and members are admitted free. More details will be given on arrival.
One Child (aged 5-15) is admitted FREE with a full paying adult. (Gate open at 10.30am and train rides start at 11am. Last admission 3.30pm. Close at 4pm).
Regular Train Days are held March to October.
Free parking on site (subject to availability) – go to Yeovil Junction station, BA22 9UU and turn right under the low bridge half way up the station approach road – look out for large ‘Yeovil Railway Centre’ sign and arrow!
