Our site is part of Yeovil Junction station which is served by South West Trains on the route London Waterloo-Salisbury-Yeovil Junction-Exeter. By road simply follow the signs to Yeovil Junction station, BA22 9UU from Yeovil Town centre or from A37 Dorchester-Yeovil road. Buses leave Yeovil Bus Station hourly (from 4/6/2022) but with exceptions (CLICK HERE-Monday to Saturday but not Public Holidays). The entrance to Yeovil Railway Centre is through the low bridge, half way up the Yeovil Junction station approach road.

Please do NOT cross any railway line to reach Yeovil Railway Centre but follow the directions above. Thank you for your co-operation.

WE HAVE MANY IDEAS FOR PRESENTS WITH A RAILWAY THEME FOR BOTH OLD AND YOUNG (AND THOSE IN BETWEEN).

Shop Open every Sunday 10am to noon and as detailed below during Events
(but closed over Christmas & New Year and Halloween).

Pectin's Pantry (our Cafe) is open during Events.

We are only open during planned Events (see below for details) and Static Viewing on Sunday mornings (no facilities other than Shop available-see above for times). Closed on other days.


Driver Experience
We offer good value Driver Experience events for individuals (up to 3 hours approx and great Gift idea!) or are suitable for Groups of up to 8 people (Full Day). Please get in touch if you are interested either in organising a group for a full day or perhaps preparing and driving the engine prior to one of our Train Days. Halloween Evenings
Event runs from 5.30pm to 9pm. Admission prices £12.50 all ages (Age 5 and under are free) - (Bookings now open!) or £13.50 on the night.
Come dressed up in your scarey outfits! Prize for scariest costume! Free Horror Bag for children! Ghostly steam train rides from the haunted house included......Halloween themed food on sale!!
