06 December 2009 Apart from all the preparations for Santa Specials works continues on other projects.

The Southern concrete 'Sutton Bingham' sign has now been erected-and very smart it looks too. For pictures of its original condition please CLICK HERE. As with many old concrete products rotting of the reinforcement was seen. This has been attended to and, due to the somewhat fragile nature of the sign, it now sits in a steel frame. Yeovil Railway Centre can now claim to run trains from Yeovil Junction to Sutton Bingham!!

Ben has cleaned up the Company Fowler's drive shaft which sits between the engine and gearbox and put this in place. Photos of previous work can be seen HERE and HERE .
