Throughout the Festival, 50050 was on display and was started periodically. After proceedings had finished, a couple of runs up and down the Clifton Maybank branch were made following completion of repairs to the electrical systems. The engine may not look very pretty but is a runner and work will now concentrate on renovating the cabsides and guttering.

West Coast 47760 arrives in readiness for the railtour on 18 July, passing 50050. 30777 Sir Lamiel was originally booked to arrive but was called to operate the excursion as no second steam engine was available.
