20 March 2008 Following completion (for the time being) of the new siding, the opportunity was taken of moving coaches currently on the running line. 'Pectin' was being given a test steam prior to the first Train Day for 2008 and assisted Fowler diesel 'Cockney Rebel' in completing the shunt.

'Cockney Rebel' brings up 3 loose coaches, brake van and chassis.

'Pectin' is then attached and takes the train back down the track to release 'Cockney Rebel'.

'Pectin' has some great sound effects when working hard!

Ruston 'Yeo' watches proceedings.

What to do next? Roger issues instructions.

First test of the new track.

Proves to be in order!

Seven coaches are then heaved up the bank - 'Pectin' leading and 'Cockney Rebel' is there somewhere!

Job done!

Tight squeeze!

The three loose coaches are returned to the end of the running line.
